Last night I drew out the designs for these small paintings, and I inked them. Tonight after work I got them painted up so they can soon be on their way.
The first is a zombie for a really cool deco book I had the pleasure of working in. It’s an accordian folded book, with photo mounts to hold the 4×4″ paintings in, like in a photo album, and a library pocket with information. It made me rethink the basic booklet design for future projects.
I’m fairly happy with how my zombie came out. It was originally one of the Wolves zombies from The Walking Dead TV show.
This is a painting for my wife for Yule. It’s our characters Poet and the vampire, Campbell, in his fox shape. I’m going to tuck it into her card when I send her small gifts. I ordered her a T-shirt to be sent to her at her mom’s place. Being apart really sucks, especially during the holidays. Not knowing when we can be together again is even worse.
