Various Mini Books
So I don’t really know what got into me to start making these. Other than the promise to swap minis with folks. lol Phrixy tea stained a bunch of paper for me (love!) and I started tearing down the half sheets with some thought of making little books. Then the books just got littler and littler… And then I had strips of watercolour paper left from cutting down sheets into ATCs and such, and they became covers with the help of my Score Board… and ta-da!
Mini Books for a Personal Trade
Some I’m going to save for my own dollhouse and my Barbies to play with. Because I can. Some are for trade, and some maybe for sale. Having way too much fun with all this. They are what I’ve seen called ‘thread-bound,’ which is when you bind the pages by running your thread or string up the middle of a folded page, then around the spine, then around the next page, around the spine, and so on. I then glued the whole works on the outer side after tying and securing it, and glued a fancy spine over that. Loving it! Each book is about an inch tall, a few are smaller.
