Just a quick update on my mini albums. I’ve got lots done, but only a few pictures… First is the Butterfly Book for Chels, made from a holographic tissue box. Purple and teal pages inside. Approx 4×5″. Punched binding with embroidery floss and dangling star beads. The image is actually really sparkly, which Chels just LOVES, so I had to do this for her.
Faerie Book for Chels
Next up is the fairy book I made for Chels. The paper is from DCWV’s Once Upon a Time stack. It has a glass stone knob with twisted wire and a ribbon to close the book. Inside are a variety of papers in different sizes, with lots of tuck pockets and flaps, just according to what we had on hand that she liked. The pages are tied in, and so the spine has lots of dangling fibers and beads. She’s collecting fairy images inside that she traded and collected.
We used the same paper stack when I put together our own album for wedding photos and the infrequent pictures we get of ourselves at various outings. Or maybe I should say, pictures of our infrequent outings together. I’ll be doing a video of that book.
Gingerbread House Book
This Gingerbread House book has an accordion-fold inside for putting wee pictures in, and I’m sending it to Chels’ brother for Christmas. It’s his first with his girlfriend, so I figure they’ll want all sorts of cute things to remember it by. It’s since had a bunch of glitter glaze added to the candies, which probably wouldn’t show up in the photo anyhow.
Serenity Album
The Serenity Album has its info on the photo, so I won’t add it here. It’s a TP roll album, and I put a lot of work into collecting things to put on the tags, etc.
That’s all I have to show for now, though I’ve been making a lot of things. I’ll have to get more photos for the next post…
